Beautiful!
Isn’t the weather perfect for the torts?
The chicks are looking well-feathered now. x

I love the detail on the two pictures showing up close seed heads. I'm crap at taking pictures, but you are really, really good. Have you ever shown or entered contests with them?

yes its super super hot here...the little birdies have flown the nest. all survived bar one and I miss their little chirping and the mum dad flying round like mad things waiting for me to move a pot so they could chew on a worm. (I did save lots of worms too!).

Thank you Yvonne, very kind of you to say. I try and capture the essence - they are dandelions which I think are one of our most beautiful flowers. And it is dependent on the camera I think and luck of the shot however professional photographers are 99.5% better than I ! on my picky of Missy Olive in the last photo I can actually see her pupil , incredible beady bright eyes she has !

Great pictures as usual Clare. Such amazing detail. I think it was Missy Olive you fitted the lumisol cover over? Was that a success Clare?

Lumisol is brilliant - I use it on trellis's also to give a bit of privacy. The lumisol over Missy O was good, it provided massive heat cover but was supposed to allow the plants and grass under neath to grow because unlike other plastics / old GH's it allowed the UV's through - but it did kill off all the daisies- I don't know whether it was because of the extreme space exploration weather warming global climate change over Missy O's area or it didn't do what it said on the tin. But for a mega cheap pagoda type cover set up it was superb for humans and Tortoises - not so much guinea pigs, CB
