Sleepy and eyes still swollen
Slept more or less for four days now on his little rock so let him be (except bath time). Wouldn't open his eyes even for food More treatment with hay fever drops And eating, put on 2 grammes ! This little one is smaller and weighs less than the Fruits.

Well done you for giving him the TLC he needed. So pleased his little eyes are open and he's putting on weight. Hope he goes from strength to strength now. He really is a cutie-pie.

I'm so relieved, that is such good news. You obviously have a way with these torts. It must be so rewarding, after taking so much time, to see them get better.
I love the photo - just trying to imagine lying in a bed of all my favourite foods. I think I would be sleepy too!

thak - you both but I'm not sure to be honest. I find it is really hit and miss with poorly torts, no one size seems to fit all at all. Even with antibiotics - which he didn't have but I couldn't believe how quick his eye lids swelled up. And if it fails you think should I have done A instead of B. But you do B next time and think I should have done A !
There is one thing that's true though he would be lost under a nasturtium in Tort Knox!

thanks Bev. He is very small still and kept closing his eyes every time the others came over. Im a little worried cause his skin seems quite pale too, and he wasn't like that, but he is still eating heartily and putting on weight. CB
