After nearly 3 years in an inside table they deserve it. Instantly they are so much of a bigger part of the family. I am so pleased I have done it finally and in time for them to have the best summer ever x love my torts and can't wait to enjoy them so much ever than before!!!

Is that pond liner that you have used to line the indoor area?

That looks great! Is there any risk of bird attack? e.g. magpie

Yes, its pond liner to protect it. I do need to add some netting at some point but birds not really a problem as there are lots of bushes.

This looks great and exactly what i want to do. Do you have any heat in for night time at all. How long do you have the lights on also. I wonder if mine would just stay in the shed if i had lights on during day. I have been bringing mine in at night and now its getting impractical

Looks fab! The Berkshire Tortoise Club has an Open Day on Saturday 11th April, 10:30-2:30 at St Barnabas Church Hall in Emmer Green . We'll have guest speakers, tortoises on show, tortoise items for sale, a bouncy castle, a raffle, guest speakers etc. we'd love it if you would come along!

mine used to have the lights/heat on through the day and would always come out, possibly because it got to warm and because I never fed them inside so they had to come out to eat. I had a ceramic heat bulb for nights on a thermostat set to come on at 10c, my torts never spent much time inside unless it wasn't a very nice day then would still come out after a warm up.
