Brilliant - this is exactly the debate we should be having !! Raising awareness, conservation - its is the smallest tortoise in the world Julie ! that's all I know sooo far but lots already knew that . I didn't ! There doesn't seem to be a Mr Padloper either so why is it called that !!

I thought you had bought one from Argos with your hyperlink !! That explains it ! I wondered if it had been named after Dr Livingstone Padloper but that is much more 'romantic'.
