Thanks for the morning giggle.

No need to regurgitate anything except for 12 years of research and correspondence with one of the leading manufacturers of animal diets.

I tend not to be presumptuous because I do have some faith in some fellow human beings along with the education and experience they have.

While the artical you were so kind to bring to my attention was interesting and supports some of my own findings it is in no way a basis of what I've been saying all along. I honestly hope the article you keep bringing to my attention is not the only article you read on animal nutrition.

Back to the topic if you lot and your ego's are all done?

I stick to grasses and weeds. This summer was a total wash out weed wise, but I've come across tons now. Never usually see many in January!

Naaaahhhh... my ego never gets its quota of stroking or strutting.

As to putting on weight/body mass... grasses alone will eventually do it under ideal conditions but a good formulated/commercial/pelleted diet is going to be so much more healthy for the tortoise in the short and long term.
