I like that movie... Sean Conery... no?

To make it respectable... it needs to be done right. Not like throwing a sensor in a fishtank and calling it research.

This kind of thing would be more along the lines of a data base and not really research.

Agreed, If we could focus on the hows and whats, then we could come up with some valuable data, which could become apart of research

How so?

It was a husbandry question... that led to a suggestion of a husbandry data base... the crap in the middle was a little off base but that usually occurs in a discussion to lighten the mood.

These are the questions I ask...

Nice Looking Tortoise Questions
Enclosure type...
Temperature range...
UV provided...
Substrate...
Humid hide...
Foods Fed...
Frequency of feeding...
Water availability...
Soakings...
And any other insight you think might be important.

...and I save copies of the photos of the tortoises.
What about age? most of the much older torts over here are nice looking because they were wild caught and not because of husbandry while here I reckon. UK bred torts of.. for example.. 10 years old which are nice looking would be more relevant would they not after 10 years of captivity from birth?
