They do it too us all, as long as you know he/she has been acting normal up to this, its just their way of saying I want to be outside, so I will stop eating:0)

He's a sod. Just walks through it at the moment. Will take it from my hand, mind you. I hate it really, I just want him to eat the good stuff like he used to.
If there is anybody with any ideas on enticing him, I'm open to trying. xx

Well the new regime is in place and despite some stomping all over the food, with the help of a little cucumber drizzle to ease the transition - we are eating some weeds. So I'll keep this going and gradually ease off the drizzle once he gets regularly eating and not walking through. Progress being made in any event xx

well done rach! I realised my cat had me under the thumb when I got up at 4am to feed him. He had been walking over my head and biting my cheek (gently) and I realised I wasn't going to get any more sleep if I didn't feed him. Little horror that he is. It wasn't until the morning, when I had been awake a little while that I realised how ridiculous that was and that he was just training me up nicely. I have started shutting the bedroom door now so he can't get in.

It was a bit like that scary cats with thumbs advert! I imagine tortoises with thumbs would be terrifying.

"Thats the way to do it" as punch would say (showing how old I am).
Weaning them off will work if you have the will power not to give in:0)

I'll keep going at it Sandy. He's just forgotten what's actually good for him and probably has enjoyed being the boss of me lol.
But I've done his food for tomorrow and it's more of the same. I'll blumming hand feed it if I have to... xx

Great job, Rach! I'm sure Lils will be eating up his weeds like a good boy before you know it.
