Lump chalk
I have just receive a mail from shelled warriors about lump chalk. I have never heard of this, do others here use it x x. Hugs x x

Haven't tired it Stella. I believe it's a good calcium source but I'm not sure if it's any advantage over limestone flour.

Have you used it for a few years, great source of calcium and my gang prefer it over cuttlefish

I might get some and give it a go next payday!!! They have the cuttlefish which they love but the limestone flour tends to be a walk through.......I haven't seen any eat it and I am getting to the end of the supply. If this stuff works better I may abandon the limestone flour X x x. Hugs x x

Yes I got some chalk from a member on here last year I think, cant remember which member is was due to my terrible memory but my tortes loved it and I think I will get some for them this year.

I use cuttlefish, chalk and a "cake" made from lime flour (limestone flour mixed into a paste and let to set in an ice cube tray). As recommended by the breeder they came from.
I figure give them a few options and let them help them selves anyway. |
