Help with purchase, please!!!
Guys!!!
I am desperate! I wanted to order from Shelled Warriors shop or from Ebay seeds and they refuse to ship to Malta. I am ready to pay for registered letter but someone from GB needs to order it first and re-send to me. What I am interested in is http://www.shelledwarriorsshop.co.uk...ost-3342-p.asp just one packet. Please reply here or PM me. I really care about it. |

Try messaging Sarah Lowe. She may be able to help you. She owns the page and runs the shop. x

The negative reply was from Sara
I can pay 100% before someone places order at SW shop. I just want to plant the best I can for my torts and trust, that the offered mix is what they need. Anyone? I can pay via Paypal or regular bank transfer. |

Having asked someone I know who sells things such as this, we cannot send seeds outside the UK, they'd be returned to the sender. I wanted to find out before I offered to help, otherwise I would have purchased them for you. Sorry. x

Common, normal bubble envelope, who is going to open it and look for forbidden items? Maltapost never opens letters. I had been receiving really prohibited goods and absolutely no problems at all

If you want seed you could collect it yourself. Wait until the weeds around your area are finished and produce their seed heads, when the seeds are ripe collect them in a paper bag. Paper is best as plastic will make any moisture in the seeds turn them rotten. Or you could buy them here. http://www.maltawildplants.com/ASTR/..._oleraceus.php

I will try to contact the website owner, but I dont think he sells anything. Looks more like an informative site.
As for collecting seeds I would not mind, but unfortunately I cant find any of the most suitable weeds in my area... And what law breaking are you talking about? Sending a few seeds from one private person in EU to another is a crime? Let's not exaggerate... |

Actually it is. You'd be importing invasive, non native species. While this didn't occur to me initially, now that's been pointed out it seems obvious and can't believe it didn't come to mind in the first instance. If it wasn't illegal, customs would allow it. Potentially it could cause wide spread crop/plant disease. It's certainly not a risk I'm willing to take.
