I have just spoken to my son and he is going to let all his mates know, ( He does know alot of unsavoury characters). I am praying they turn up very shortly.

I never understand when tortoises are stolen why some are just dumped in parks etc. What is the point in that?

No idea Lynne, why would you steal someone's beloved pet in the first place?

I can understand (not condone) but understand shop lifters and the like and people stealing random things like bikes, but to steal a pet that's a member of someone's family? Its preposterous .

The idiots that have done this probably think they are going to make a buck or two....

Thank you very much. Its the wonderful people sharing and posting that I truly believe will possibly get me some of my torts back. You dont know how much it means when it happens to you but I surely will in future with others.

Im so sorry to hear you have lost your little loves I hope They find there way home soon!

When i first got my Tortys (3 months ago) i was very happy and was telling everyone at work... Some customers over heard and started asking what breed they were and where did i keep them and asking a lot of questions..... it was very odd! So now i dont shout about the fact i have them as you never know who is about.
