Default ESF Studbook Pancake Tortoise (Malacochersus tornieri)

I have recently taken over the management of the European Studbook Foundations Pancake Tortoise (Malacochersus tornieri) studbook.

I am currently inviting registration of new participants and would be interested to hear from anyone keeping this species who would like to be involved.

For further details please e-mail me: petermg.watson@hotmail.co.uk

For more information about ESF please visit the website www.studbooks.eu

I'm still here, quietly muddling through!

I think I'm actually at slightly less species than before now. I concentrate a bit more on the managed species like the pancakes and radiateds, but still keep all my old favourites - Hermanns, spurs etc.

Hope you're well

Hi Peter

Well I am now concentrating more on my boxies, I had my first hatchling last year, only one egg laid.
This year I have fifteen eggs, and at least seven of the first ten are fertile. Just hope they hatch.
Its a new learning curve for me, as hatching boxie eggs is a lot different to tortoise eggs:0)
Its keeping me on my toes:0)
