1 don't know but not edible I don't think
2 looks a bit like bittercress which is edible but am not 100% sure it is bittercress 3 thistle, mine eat young thistles.. may also be speedwell in the pic too but not sure. speedwell would be okay if it was that 4 as bob says, looks like daisy to me. most would say don't feed it 5 buttercup. as bob says some feed it and some don't. I don't. Kinda think it's toxic to humans 6 i think that is the beginnings of a ragwort plant which is toxic |

Hi,
The others have done all the hard work but.. Number one looks like its going to be a foxglove when it grows up so its a The plant to the right of it is Geum, I found a few tortoise links that say they are edible but high in Tannins so feed sparingly. Number two is Bittercress, good stuff. The red plant is a Calluna (cause it says it on the label ) Number three . To the left and below left of the thistle (which they can eat) is a speedwell (probably Germainder Speedwell at this time of year) This is also edible. The Clover looking plant on the right is an Oxalis, not fed to tortoises because of the high Oxalic acid content. Number four does look like a daisy. Alright if they have a nibble outside but I wouldn't feed it indoors. Number five - Is one of the buttercups. Most people won't fed them to tortoises. They are quite toxic to other animals. Number six is a young Ragwort. Very nasty, very toxic. |

Ooh I know NUMBER 5!!! Thats the creeping buttercup that I stupidly fed Lily for months. At least that was how i left it. Lily actually loves it but because i found it on the toxic list and read on here, plus googled it - i have not fed it for ages. Truth be known though...Lily did like eating it which i always found strange considering it was supposed to be really bad. Just would have thought he would have turned his nose up and had the warning bells going - and thought "yuk" -(he normally spits out anything that is bad...)
