Default Will somebody pleaaase tell me how often?

I haven't had an answer from the last thread. :[ I posted a while back. But I'm worried about pyramiding and such. His shell is fine as of now but I always wondered how often am I supposed to feed a baby Hermann? Every day once? Every other day? Uhm...confused and how can you spot early signs of pyramiding? ;]

I would feed a little everyday, the pyramiding can start after about the first year, 18 months, i think, with growth, usualy starts on the mid shell, the vertebrals raise in slight steps. Humidity can play apart in this aswell, i have read.

As a guide I read that a hatchling should be given the amount that would cover the size of its shell each day.Don't quote me but think it's some kind of ancient wisdom! It's difficult if you have several as some are always greedier than others and you can't always stand by on the touchline, but better to underfeed than over.

Paul, or anyone - can i ask something. Lily has slight pyramidding. I think this was due to me giving him some wrong things over the last 8-9months. I have rectified this now and he is having anice weedy balance to his food. But my question is once you do get the scutes raised albeit slightly - is there anyway that with enough good diet and better conditions - it can correct itself - and begins to "get a smoother curve"??
Does this make sense - i am sure you get what i mean here...

the slight pyramidding wont go away
but smoother new growth
will make the pyramidding less noticeable

Thanks ladies! What do you think...you know the pic i just posted - is it really bad or not too bad...or ok? It is mainly on the top scutes. The sides are fine and a little bump here and there but ... I wonder if over feeding was bad (read and learned that it can be on here..) I am even not sure that Lily is 2 and half years...He looks pretty big. But the CITES cert said hatched between June-Aug 2007 ...but have read, again on here - that some certs are...shall we say, not really very accurate and can even be tampered with.

...i fear though, more than likely it is me, stupid me that was over feeding, and probably alot of the wrong things (remember...creeping buttercup, kale, cabbage..watercress). So the buck stops with me i fear....
