Yesterday was an amazing day
Amidst all the doom and gloom about recession, houses and mortgage refusals, yesterday I was approved on my first mortgage, and reserved a plot on a brand new home. I was amazed how quickly it all happened

That's fantastic news, congratulations!
It's so difficult for people to get on the property ladder now. I was only 19 when I got my mortgage with my hubby (then Fiance) and a lot of my friends told me I was far too young. Thankfully we were in a recession and the property prices were very low. If we hadn't done it then, we'd have struggled to do it at all. How lovely to know you'll be the first people in your new home. When is it being built?
