it was a nice day for some sunbathing



the flowers were out



the air was still



delicate petals smiled at us



curtsied under the blue of the cornflower






colours brightened the day



and so they disappeared .....



away from the heat



to be dug up again .....



to see the summers day...
These are both two year old Horsfields who still sit in the palm of my hand and dig out under a hard wood perimeter fence and under a brick dug down at ground level ! Unluckily for them I know how naughty little Horsfields brains work and have a double layer perimeter so dig away little ones but don't forget to stop and smell the roses !!
