Default Anything to worry about...

Just got another 2 ibera spurs....1 has only 4 vertebral instead of usuall 5..is this common?.... and will he/she have any health probs in future.

4 ibrea spur thigh, + 1 we board 4 weeks a year, 1 hubby, 3 kids, and so many grandkids forget names....lol

from what i understand thiis should not cause future problems

my little red has split scutes

Thanks linda seen photo of stripe lovely little tort....hubby picked this 1 out of 6 because he was different and felt sorry for him...but he is going to stand out from the rest.

One of mine has a couple of weird scutes, I don't think that affects him, like you I just think that makes him a little bit special!

Hello split, missing scutes are found in wild caught tortoises.
I have a few adults who have missing or split scutes and it does not effect them at all.
