Default prolapse??

my 6 year old horsfield tortoise has what appears to be a prolapse and im struggling to find a good reptile vet i live in lockerbie can anyone suugest where to go and what to do she is eating and being bathed daily.

Can you tell us where in the country you are, North or South , there are a number of good reptile vets around the country.

I think! Its north of England, scottish borders.
If you google tpg vet list, I believe there is a vetm ist on thetortoisetable.org too
Has the suspected prolapse gone back in yet? (If not dont let it dry out, cover in vaseline and cling film)

25 mile north of carlisle excellent vet in cockermouth ruth(torty) is there now x-ray tomorrow and hopefully re insertion of prolapse and answer to problem ie worms or stones

got everything sorted by vet in cockermouth and oral antibiotics. Worms seams to have been problem but other near identical tortoise is ok, had it dosed anyway. my own vet took stitch out of torts bum after 1 week and so far so good.
