I keep and regularly hibernate a range of aquatic and semi aquatic fresh water turle species. These include a number of North American and European species.

My kinosternon baurii group while in Germany was hibernated in an outdoor pond. I was told by the person who was selling them.

With a large collection I also hibernate some tortoises and not others which would normally hibernate.

With your aquatics... do you hibernate all that would normally hibernate in their native range?

I certainly try and hibernate, or at least cool many of the species I keep. especially those whom are being bred.
