Hope all ok G, thinking of you in hot sweltering hospital with the cheap fans going at a cost of twenty million pounds a time, probably cost more than the whole NHS bill put together...CB

Well then.
I went to the docs this morning to have my wound prodded and poked measured and re dressed and the nurse had a good look at the cellulitis area which was sort of looking ok and decided we could go to two days a week unless it started getting sore or weeping more.

So went back home and sat out in the garden sunbathing and tanning up my 12 pack when I felt something running down my tummy and low and behold I had a leak.
So started to make my way indoors to put a dressing on it and it suddenly erupted and the only thing handy to put on it was one of my daughters white socks on the line so grabbed it and pressed it over the hole which eventually stopped it so now waiting to see doctor will it ever flippin end.

Your daughter must be so thrilled with that!

How much fluid are you carrying inside you? By the time it all drains out you’re going to be a size XL!!

It was an ankle sock and it was soaked. I did offer to wash it again but she said no for some reason.
Emma I would love to be an xl but you never know as I'm still losing weight.

I actually meant to put XS!
You might as well aim for a medium at the least!

Can’t understand for one moment why she wouldn’t want to have a ‘lucky sock’.

Oh no Gordon, you must feel like it’s never going to end. But I do wonder how much is left to come out of you, it can’t go on forever, you will vanish.

Just waiting to see what the hospital say as doc sent a letter explaining what had happened and thinks there is a cavity in the centre of the cellulitis infection site.
So just waiting to see if they want to see me but when letters are sent via email in my experience it takes ages to get a reply.

How frustrating that it all takes so long and presumably the leakage doesn't get any better while you wait. Being left in limbo is awful.
Really hope this won't mean more packing or surgery for you, Gordon. x
