Default Re homing my defected tortoise please read

I have two tortoises and have had no problems with my 6 year old.

I brought Tilly who is 2 from a private seller back in Dec and she is a horsefield.
I slowly started to notice a deformity in her jaw and thought it was mouth rott. After i took her to the vets they have said it is not mouth rott and may be a birth defect. She has her mouth open constantly and has a hard substance covering inside her mouth. She doesn't eat and i feed her through soak in her bath. I really don't want to have to make the decision to let someone take her from me and my children will be devastated but I am so out of my depth with her.
Any help would be welcome and anyone looking to re home must have fantastic knowledge of tortoises.
I live in the Swindon area and my email is gemma0307@hotmail.co.uk this would be the fastest way to contact me.
Many tyhanks in advance. Gemma
