split housing
just wondering would i be able to make a say 6ftx4ft enclosure and put a peice of wood down the middle to separate it. then have little leo in 1 side and little hermanns in other. or is it best not to have them so close??? just a thought as ive seen it done but i dont know whether people do it just with same species. thanks in advance

hi
it can be done as long as each separate species get the environment it needs will you be able to keep the leos night time temps high enough without affecting the hermans who needs lower night time temps |

as linda has said, as long as the two sides have there own environment and non effect the others then it should be fine

possibly
but really you would need to set the table up and start recording temperatures in both areas to check you can obtain the correct day time temps and night time temps for both species i have 1 table for ibera and 1 table for reds fairly close together each has its own uv lights the reds also has a night time ceramic so i am able to get the correct temps for both species but my tables are both larger than yours and as said are seperate im presuming you do not have both species yet so you could divide the table set up the heating and lighting and see what temps you are able to maintain |

no i already have both species but im not in a rush so i could actually just try the temps like you say. also i might just try doing it with the separate lights as i have enough combined bulbs to do it. will just have to experiment i think.
thanks though for the advice i will give it a try and see what i can come up with
