Marginated egg, day 67. Question ?
It's day 67 and Margies usually hatch about now, or up to day 70, but the membrane hasn't fully pulled down, it's about half way, and in the past my others had gone white by day 67. Any advice on what could be happening or what to do please. Gordon ! Danny !

Esmé kept me waiting until day 63, when most Hermanns appear to pip a week earlier, so hang on in there Suze!
Fingers crossed that the membrane will be down and signs of pipping by the weekend. These single eggs have so much riding on them. I remember the anxiety all too well. x

As long as the egg still looks good it's just a case of time if it's going to come out it will do it when it's ready so it will more than likely be female

It does still look good, so it must be a female 😉 thanks Gordy

It seems to have pulled down a lot more today, but only on one side, but it's looking ok, so I think this one is just going to keep me waiting a bit longer, frustrating as I'm not very patient !

Day 72, baby still not out, I don't know what to do. I'm a bit worried, the membrane is still not finished pulling down, it seems to be taking a long time. And I'm going away on Thursday, it needs to come out. What shall I do ?

How long do I leave it, what if it can't get out, do I just let it die in there. The membrane doesn't seem to be pulling away properly and I'm worried this is causing a problem, it's definitely later than it should be. Worried
