Best news of the olympics so far...
"London's Mayor Boris Johnson has been left hanging after he got stuck on a zip wire at an Olympic event in Victoria Park, London. Mr Johnson ground to a halt about 20 metres (65ft) from the end of the 320m (1,050ft) long line. Carrying two Union Jack flags and a blue hard hat, the mayor was rescued after around five minutes suspended in mid-air." Can't wait to see that on the news. And Torterra, glad you enjoyed your day at the shooting. Thats near me, horrible area isn't it? |

They should have left him up there.
Bradley Wiggins is Belgian, I didn't know that. The Belgians will be gutted . A bit of a John Terry moment for team GB |

It looked to me as a joke until I read the news
We did not see any cheat matches I think, all was good. Japan/ Hong Kong women pair match was amasing, we sat in Chinese part. One half of the spectators was chanting JAPAN other half HONG KONG!!!

Interesting place, We seen a local insulting a police officer and police officer only replied 'You r d**@ mate' and walked off. He must be local too, such a hard job to be a police in there.

I agree with you Alan, I love watching the olympics especially athletics but with some athletes like example usain bolt is it true talent or is it just a matter of time? I think its always in the back of people's minds.
It can be easy to fail a drugs test, the rules are stupendous at times. Like they will turn up at your house anytime of the year with little notice sometimes during the night and if you're not there you automatically fail. What does everyone think about Dwain Chambers? He is in the olympics this year and I think thats great. Yes he was a past drugs cheat but all the other countries use their past drug cheats! He served the time as a drug cheat, he still managed to remain no.1 in the country with no athletic funding what so ever. He has been the best we have at 100m for many years now. Thats another thing that annoys me, I HATE it how certain GB athletes in the limlight get a hell a lot of funding then other GB athletes dont have any funding and they may have a full time job. I dont think its fair at all. I felt sorry for Tom Daley's partner the other day in the doubles diving or whatever it is called. It was all about Tom Daley..... Also.... Has anyone seen Russia and Ukraine's jackets and kits????? Talk about bringing the 80's back! There are some right dodgy haircuts as well.
I have loved watching the gymnastics the past few days. |

I'm already sick of the TV presenters asking medal winners the most stupid questions like "how does it feel to be olympic champion?" "what did you think of the crowd?" "did you sleep with your medal on?"
and why is the latest craze with the football on TV (not just the olympics) to sit outside in the cold and wind with huge glass paperweights holding their notes down? At the Euros Roy Keane was standing on the pitch at half times trying to be heard above the tannoy! mental |
