Cuttlefish addiction?

This is Shelly having a good munch on her cuttlefish!

Ive always noticed her occasionally nibbling at a cuttlefish bone, but lately (Past month or so) she has been eating cuttfish constantly!! Any reason for this?

Shes not big enough for eggs so cant be gravid.....but ever since i changed them to a combined bulb (125W solar glo) shes got a real appetite and constantly eating cuttle.....could it be a growth spurt? She has regular access to Nutrobal and limestone flour on her food so i cant see the need for her extra calcium intake :S

Any opinions would be awesome and appreciated

I think they just go through stages of eating it. I have some who love it & others that hardly ever touch it. I did notice that one of mine ate it obsessively after coming out of hibernation one year - & yes she also had a growth spurt

Mine Dont touch theirs, I still have to replace them as they get really dirty lol x

Mine go through stages too but Tabitha really went mad and gobbled loads of hers when she was gravid.
