Default Zolcal-D?

Hiii,

Can i use Zolcal-D as a regular supplement (Say once a week or month) or is it really only used when tortoises are lacking calcium?

I wouldn't use it as a full time suppliment. Its a very concentrated dose of both vitamin D3 and Calcium.

This is usually given when prescribed by a vet because your tortoise needs a quick supply of concentrated calcium, not to be used as a regular things.
Offer cuttlefish, best after soaking, calcium carbonate, available from any horse supply shop, hope this helps

For calium I scrape/dust a small amount of cuttlefish on my torts feed just a couple of times a week thats the only way I can get calcium into them. I do leave the cuttlefish in the table but they never touch it.
