Also try getting her head and just squeeze under her head the flabby bit and see if any mucus comes out of the nose. If you tortoise has runny nose and you do use bayril down the nose, it is important to squeeze the mucus out (be gental) swipe it away then put the bayril down.

You wont hurt her by squeezing her nose area.
Also leopards are great grazers, they need grass as part of their diet.

hi please be aware that the treatment for leopards is not baytril ,or at least it never used to be ,perhaps your vet will know about this if i remember correctly i read this in a book by the tortise trust, and i have no reason to doubt them. i have treated spurthighed tortises with baytril without any problems but i think you should look into this before you give it to leopard tortoises.sorry to be so negative.

i read that somewhere once but my vet gave my leopards baytril but im sure i read they are illergic to it but i could never find the info again.

Was it here Carl. I have read it on several occasions but have to say my juvenile leopard was given it by my vet, when I first got him and showed no ill effects.

i think i read it on a tortoise web site but i couldnt find it so i mentioned it to my vet but he said hed never heard it and two of my leos have had baytril injections and have not had unusual side effects

I read that Baytril is not to be given to Leopards, that they're allergic to it.
