boredom??
hi, has anyone got any ideas. Japer has been bored recently, it's to cold for him out side, and there isn't much really in his home. so is there anything you can suggest maybe i could let him roam about my room, obviously supervised for a little?
let me know .

Hmm, I'm not sure if this would work for tortoises or not, but when I was younger I had a hamster, and me and my sisters used to make a huge maze out of jooplo (big lego block things) and let her run around it, putting treats round every corner... Might take jasper all day to get round it though!

Hi there I let Marni run round my kitchen floor for about an hour every afternoon she seems to like it. It stops her trashing her table which is what she does when she is bored. then I give her a bath and she goes happiley back in her table. But you must make sure there is nothing on the floor they can pick up and eat cause they will try anything.
Good luck Marnismum

Hiya
I let Fluffy out sometimes in the hallway. It is hard flooring and he cant get anywhere i cant find him. He does come in the living room with us, but i have to watch him like a hawk as he loves to go under the settees! I think the excercise does him good and he gets to stretch his little legs. Be warned though, if your tort is anything like Fluffy, he will like the soft rug feel and poo all over it! LOL |
