Here in the east my torts have already stayed outside more days this year than the combined total for the past 3 years!

the plants in these photos are not for eating but they are not poisonous if they were nibbled. The tortoises never eat them. I forget the name of the blue grassy thing. The pink flowering low shrub is a Cistus called Grayswood Pink. the Red flowering plant is a Helianthemum ( http://www.helianthemums.co.uk/collection/) there is also a marjoram plant the red leafy plant is a Heuchera. Heucheras can be offered as a food plant but my torts don't bother eating it. There are lots of different Heucheras, Cistus and Helianthemum plants available and I think they are lovely plants. Really large tortoises would probably flatten them!

Alan I've had two weeks of really mild weather with some decent sunshine at times as well. I've been enjoying it so much after last year's crap.
