Been offered two horsefields

Just been advised that one is male and the other female! Will this be problematic?

In due time it could be...if you notice the male start harassing the female - by this I mean chasing around, biting, butting - you WILL have to separate.
So you must watch this. Keep an eye but I do fear in due time ....something like this will occur.
I would keep the substrate to soil/sand MIXED. Or better, just sterilised topsoil - to keep it simple. I noticed sand on its own in your pic....this isnt good on its own and probably will irritate their eyes.

Thanks for this. Will this definitely happen? If so, when do they become sexually mature (roughly)? I've no problem separating them and having two enclosures, I just would like to know when this is likely to happen.
