Just been advised that one is male and the other female! Will this be problematic?

In due time it could be...if you notice the male start harassing the female - by this I mean chasing around, biting, butting - you WILL have to separate.
So you must watch this. Keep an eye but I do fear in due time ....something like this will occur. I would keep the substrate to soil/sand MIXED. Or better, just sterilised topsoil - to keep it simple. I noticed sand on its own in your pic....this isnt good on its own and probably will irritate their eyes. |
