Eggs
My female horsfeild has just laid her second clutch what i would like to know is what are the chances of them being fertile as her firs egg was,nt, if they turn out to be infertile should i put the male back in with her or is it the case of once they have started laying any other eggs will be no good either

I THINK fertility is down to size and practise .. i may be wrong though.

The female can hold onto the sperm for some time so they could be fertile. If not then a spell with male would be good.
The first eggs are quite often not fertile. Good Luck. Quote:

If they are going into a breeding season... I would suggest leaving the male with the female except when she is actually laying eggs. If that was her first laying it is quite common for the first clutch to be infertile. You can only hope with future nestings.
I had a Leopard which layed mostly infertile eggs her entire life... it happens. Quote:
