I must admit I measure some places against whether my dogs and tortoises would like it , thrive there and thought bbbbrrrr lovely name, Rum to have on your postcode but coooold and v v wet - where would the torts be and their dog was gorgeous but snowed on ! Mine would have to wear jumpers and waders with ear muffs on my terrier. Did you see Sea Gypsies ? ...nice but no space for torts on that boat! . CB

I'm exactly the same. We've been toying with looking at other properties but the gardens just don't compare to what I've created here. I'm resigned to staying put even though I dream of a new life somewhere remote and large.
I don't do cold and wet, so Nic and Ady have my admiration through and through. I didn't see Sea Gypsies. I don't do boats either. I've only got to look at one to feel nauseous.

September is usually lovely. We always have some annual leave this month as the weather's better and more predictable, plus it's quieter after the summer holidays are over. I love September.

Well September is certainly here, and it suddenly feels quite fresh.

Hold faith ladies, I reckon the weather will improve yet. September doesn't usually let us down. There could be an Indian summer just around the corner.
