Don't think it was deep enough, she abandoned it at 3:30 this morning. I'm moving her to her summer quarters as it much deeper.

As for finding her a boyfriend, I tracked down a male to an animal rescue up north this week they are keeping him because they promised the owner (who has never been in touch after a year) they would look after him. So another animal genetically dead for all intents and purposes, living out it's life in solitary confinement. Some rescue.

Unlucky hope you have better luck with her in the summer quarters
How do you keep tracking them down, its not fair that is ridiculous that they won't release him, no chance of being able to track down the owner I guess

Thought I'd add some photo's from last nights failed attempt to show that it went pretty much how Danny explained (except th last bit)

Started like this

Made a big hole

Disappeared from view

Did get to the stage where she appeared to be compacting the soil with her back feet

I put her outside today and she spent the day in her coldframe making a...

slide.

One that takes her from the top of the dirt pile straight down into her little pond. That Geranium was upright this morning.

The quiet of the afternoon was only broken by the sound of half a kilo of box turtle hitting the water with a large splash every few minutes.

She's certainly not acting like a responsible mum to be. I better get cleaning the pool, ready for her ladyship in the morning.

She's just letting her hair down before the big day. She know's life will never be the same again
