Hi All,

Thanks for the support and ideas - I have (with some effort) talked to people at as many local RSPCA centres as possible and the national centre. There doesn't seem to be any sign of him with them. I've contacted most vets in the area, postered as many local centres this side of Wolves as I can. Got stuff in the press in Shropshire and in Wolverhampton and stuff on the radio - though Beacon is proving a very hard nut to crack - don't believe in replying to emails even to tell someone they are wasting their time
In reply to the comment about how he may be being cared for - you bet I'm worried sick. I keep on trying to think of other things to do but I suppose I must have covered all bases now but can't rest in wanting to do more.

Maybe ask some pet shops someone could have found him, and sad to think about it but sold him to a pet shop

many thanks - all eyes and ears on the alert appreciated.
All of the stuff in the post above has turned up quite a number of dead ends and red herrings - and each time, however much one fights against it, one's hopes are raised, only to be dashed again.
Sometime soon I'm going to have to accept that I have done everything I can, but I so don't want to believe that I will have to give up...

What are the odds on this - he's a mature Hermanns with no paperwork?

(Don't frighten me too much though please

Yes - we're on as a missing ad and I've contacted a number of the rehomers already - a work in progress that one ...

I'm really grateful for the 'heads up' to Preloved and some similar sights as I didn't know their names before.

Couple of nuisance calls tonight - kids with nothing to do I guess. Not nice though - surprise surprise the calls stopped once I suggested I might pass their numbers to the police...
I can do without that!
