I would have thought they would get on fine.. I cant see your three year old tortoise challenging the older male in any way. Maybe split the enclosure with mesh for a few days and then swop them over so they are living in eachothers substrate before actually introducing them. Im sure they would be fine.

Iv been thinkin about this actually
I have 3 horsfields. 2 are coming up 3 and my other is my rescue who im unsure of the age of, guessing at 5?Maybe older

When hes been in quarentine is it possible for them to live together?
Bowser is defo a boy but my younger 2 are too young to sex

I'd definately try it. Temporarily in my indoor table I have an 18month old, a three year old, a six ish year old and an eight year old. They all get on fine, although the 8 year old and the 6 year old are outside more often than not and they haven't all been in together for long. The only thing I have to do is feed the smaller ones separately to make sure they get their fair share of food

Edited to stress that I am home much of the time so I'm able to keep a very close eye on things, It's not ideal to have tiny torts in with biggies. Just felt I should add that
