Tortoises will eat the flowers and the leaves.

can torts really eat the dead nettle?! i thought it would have stung their toungue?! very usefull guide.. off out into the garden now!!

Dead nettles have a square shaped stem too. So you can check before you get stung

2 Pics that I don't know if they're good or not, I'm still learning my plants. They're both very common around my house. The photos were taken with my cell phone because I have no batteries for my digi. Can somebody help me if they're edible for torts or not. I don't remember seeing them on the tlady wesbite, but I could have just missed over them.

i know this is a stupid ? but i don't want to feed the wrong thing to my tort (when i get one)
is dead nettle just normal garden nettle that you wait until it's dead or a specific nettle because i have loads of THAT nettle in my garden at the back appologies for the stupid question again |

Dead nettles look like stinging nettles but they dont sting and have either white or purple flowers
