introducing me and mine!
I have two hermanns torties - Sid (who we've had since a hatchling) for the last 7 years - and Nancy, who came to live with us last year - unsure of her age, but she is 1/2 the size of Sid.
They are a devoted pair, and both thourghly enjoying the very hot weather we've got here at the moment! They live 1/2 inside, 1/2 outside - they have a tortoise table, but also a large garden enclosure. Sid also like free run of the house, as he doesn't consider himself a tortoise. He thinks he is a persian, and prefers the company of my two cats than that of Nancy or us people given the choice  He will also chase my dogs and chomp them given the chance, and the other animals all give him a wide berth.I look foward to learning much from you knowledgable people. I haven't hybernated Sid as yet, and might take the plunge this year... Sarah
