Unhappy Unsuccesful

Well just been outside rather too optimisticly for weeds.

it's -6c (probably a lot warmer than some of you!!!) snow on the ground but I thought under some trees I may find some weeds.

I've come back with about 7 plantain leaves!!!!

Guess it's bagged salad again.

Yea, i have but was unsure which "blend" would be best for horsfields as it seems to be more grass, which horsfields don't really eat???

Which would you say would be best?

The Pre Alpin peep's are saying all Tortoises are Meadow grass grazer's, so any one of the two should be ok, going on there product's. Grass makes up a big percentage of there pellet.
I can identify about 20'ish different grasses it comes with my job and am able to collect them meadow fresh, don't know how i'm going to get the Herman's to eat it though, never seen them eat it when out and about. The African's are just grass cutter's some day's.
Show's how advice can change as when i first started keeping Tort's i read there are plant eater's and plant/grass eater's.

That would be great. Thanks Rach. Having trouble getting Tetley to even consider salad at the mo! He loves his weeds and not impressed with salad at all!!!!!

Just like introducing a new weed. Dress it up, and entice them to the different texture and taste. Then gradually ease off the dressing until fed on their own. Bit like how my mum got me to eat sprouts. It's all in the disguise!
P.S - love sprouts now.
