If this rule applies to teachers, it should apply to everyone? How many others professions have this requirement or be forced to leave a job? Isnt it hard enough to encourage people to become teachers?
You are running a risk of having ancient old dinosaurs for teachers lol... then you will be saying its too old fashioned!
IMO this has nothing to do with moderation... its more to do with enforcement of moderation, and that to me is unacceptable.
'Ancient old dinosaurs' that is soooooo funny!

'Facebook is a death trap' was a statement because............it is even with privacy settings, you can obtain peoples links and added posts they mail onto other peoples profiles, even down to groups.............if someone wants to try and find out what your up to, even a young person desperate to find something about what your into or up-to, then facebook is usually the place it will be...............

I in no way endorse the new moves to restrict, but after having a friend loose his job (teaching) due to facebook, I feel its a deathtrap in the making for most professions.

But as most know, I for one believe in freedom of speech and expression well, to a degree

Anyhow............................thats all I have to say about this topic, apart from, people should appreciate other peoples opinions, thats what makes us all individuals and sooOOOOooOOOoooOOoooo special

The FB thing can be dodgy, which is why I am careful to not use my own name and profile pic. Even so there's nothing incriminating on any of my pages anyway. There are several pictures of me singing into a beer bottle (I always wanted to be on the stage! lol) but that's hardly the crime of the century. There are however hundreds of pictures of my tortoises so if anyone cracked there way onto my profile pages they'd be bored to death. Lol!

Like you said earlier it's all a matter of common sense and self respect.

The ones in bold have codes of conduct that apply both inside and outside of work. In fact all healthcare professionals, have similar codes of conduct

This is just a militant teachers union kicking off about nothing!!!

The blonde wig in my previous avatar was probably a bit misleading, that was taken in April this year...I've changed it for a more recent one!
