Just a few notes to add.
I adopted Max when he was 9months old. He'd been severely mistreated in his previous home and as a result had two rather large gashes in his side, these in time had developed into abcesses. Fortunately these have now been dealt with, but Max himself has had difficulty in trusting humans since his very sad beginning. He's alot more confident now though and loves to give Lola her daily wash Lara was adopted from the Leeds and Wakefield RSPCA, She had been run over by a car, and was rescued from under shrubbery where she was sheltering. The result of her accident was a lacerated tongue and de-clawing . Nobody came forward to collect Lara from the RSPCA, so i took her on. She's a very affectionate cat and loves talking to me. She'll come through the cat-flap shouting her face off to let me know she's back. Pingu was a stray cat. She was visiting our house daily for 4 weeks before we took her in. At the time of her straying she was chased by far too many toms, so we saved her! Lara and Pingu didn't get on well at first, but now you can't separate them! |
