Default tortoise skin

hey.... shelly got a cut on his head he must have caught it on something while rummaging around the garden, so as soon as i noticed it i cleaned it, but that was over a week ago and it doesnt seem to be healing.

its not infected and theres no discharge or anything, but was just wondering should it have started to heal up by now?!?

It should be healing by now Laura. Does it have a scab on it? Did you use betadine when you cleaned it?

Should be healing unless tort is epeating the injury-I have a blind tort who kept cutting her legs on the rockery as she couldnt see where she was going. I had to dismantle the rockery. Onc I had done that there was no sign of an injury in a week.

What kind of hingeback... forest or grassland?

Both have dynamite personalities once established.
