on closer inspection I'm not sure now, is it not that it's been walking over something that colour? it doesn't seem to be in the grooves as I don't actually see the grooves. that same colour looks like it's on it's leg and neck too, dandelions perhaps?

I dont think you have anything to worry about. One of my Marginated's "Marge" has it too, particularly noticeable on her shell underneath like yours - dont know if its the torts with cream coloured plastrons show it up more? I will try & dig a picture out of her.

If you take a look at this thread's pictures the third & fourth picture shows Marge, who I told you about, she has very noticeable yellow lines too. Always had it, more noticeable than my others. I think its just normal for her.

I would d say new growth. Tunisians need to be grown very very slowly, I only feed mine every other day

i would say new growth. Just before i got freya and notarock they underwent rapid growth and it left their shells a little distorted so possibly slow down a bit

to slow down the growth, do i just feed him less then? I had no idea you had to do it like that.. he seems to love his food, shell seems to be growing fine really i'll take a few more pictures for feedback on his condition. Thanks guys.
