Poo
Maggie has just done a very slimey greeny poo. Is there anything I need to do other than keep an eye on her poos? Shes been eating mixed weeds that i grew from seeds from the shelled warriors shop, the odd dandelion leaf and basil leaves x

Well! No advice to offer from me, but you sound very relieved. I should imagine she is feeling more comfortable too.

Not sure the basil leaf is a good idea, but I could be wrong.

Tortoise Table site says no known side affects. I know if humans it is anti inflammatory I think. You would have to eat lots. Good news on the poop - have to now aim for little herbie like parcels ! I would make a note of date and portions eaten and work out when next one due. After a couple you can usually predict but all torts are v different so what one does wont be the other but one most of mine I can usually predict to the day / and or after baths etc. Well done Maggie tortoise ! All her other poos seem browny and solid but my other half tells me that its coz theyv dried out and they are usually green and slimy. I caught her mid poo today and it freaked me out haha was worried it was abnormal but shes happy x

Usually if its green and runny, it could be either too much salad foods, eating something they shouldnt or an infection of some sort.
