ventilating a shed?
i dont know is this me asking a stupid question and sorry if it is, but will adding air vents and ventilation to a fully insulated and heated outside shed make much difference to the tempretures?
does anyone have any ideas on the best form of ventilation or should i just cut a few holes in the wood and cover them with normal vent covers. the shed is 4ft by 5ft thanks |

We always found that insulation kept the shed cool in the summer and hot in the winter, without opening any windows which were double glazed. The only opening that was open all day was the cut out in the door for the torts to come and go. I suppose if you have a lot of animals in there you could put a vent in but the whole point is to not let the outside temp affect the inside whether thats hot or cold, a thermostat will stop the temps getting to hot and we never found the shed was stuffy or lacking in fresh air..

It also depends on where it is positioned. If in full sun, then it does need ventilation near the top.
