Default My Tunisian Spur-Thigh " Miles " Acting strangely..

I've only seen him do it once, but was very scary to witness. He was literally asleep in the corner of his viv.. i want over to have a look at him, his head was fairly deep into his shell, then all of a sudden he started kind of spazzing out like he was having a nightmare or something?? his head staring moving strangely quite fast and his mouth was opening like he was dreaming.. i was truely alarmed when it happened so i picked him up, and it stopped straight the way.. Was just wondering wether anyone has any advice on what this is or wether tortoises do actually dream?

Thank you, Adam.

Does he seem ok in himself now? Am wondering did he maybe have something stuck in his throat? Hopefully someone more experienced will be along soon

Hi adam, glad he seems to be ok now.

As I said in chat my first thought was that he may have something stuck in his mouth. I would give him a bath to give him the chance to have a drink.
