Default Wee question

Hi everyone,
quick one about Mustards wee, I know torts do wee on occasion, but she's done 2 really big wee's about 24 hours, is this ok? I've not seen her do this many so frequently. I'm aware of the white wee's; she does this every now and then, and poo's very regularly! But should I be worried about the amount and frequency of these normal wee's? Abee!

Hi.I wouldn't worry about his wee amount.Mine is doing every now and then a really huge amount of wee.I think it's a good sign that your tortoise has some liquid in and not dehydrated.

If they have plenty of water, then they will urinate more often. So I'd say its a sign of decent hydration levels.

as long as the large amounts of urine being passed are not related to the tort being stressed or scared it is fine

the tort will regulate how and when to pass urine and urates in accordance with its water uptake

however a startled tortoise may pass water that it needs
