The Range
I was in The Range shop today and noticed they had these concrete type tortoises like the ones you see at garden centres only these were much better detailed. There was no price at them though so I asked a member of staff and she took one away to the till to scan it and came back and said £3.99. I had thought maybe £12 or £15 going by the price of some of the other things they had there. Needless to say I bought one. I can't remember the 'new' photo site to upload a photo though. Edit > pics on next post down

Thanks Alan.
I have never heard of The Range. I will need to search on the internet. They are a really good price. I would love to have a few of them and all piled up just like the photo. I think they are great. Reminds me of some of the photos we have seen on here from owners who have a number of torts.

I'm not sure whether they are meant for indoor or out, they are very heavy and appear to be made of concrete type stuff but they have rubber pads on the bottom of their feet as if to protect furniture or shiny flooring. The Range at Edinburgh is where I was. I don't see them on their website but I don't think they have everything on there. The part of the store they were in was next to where all their bathroom stuff is but not within that section

The instructions from Alan made me smile - bit like looking after a real tort! Perhaps we should recommend shallow bath.....
