Default Advertising other groups and the like.

It has been brought to my attention that there are intentions for links to be added to the site... To advertise other groups/forums.

Please could anyone thinking of doing this ask permission first as set out in the rules of the forum.

Any links found will be removed if permission has not been asked first.

Any links that are denied permission will also be removed.

(There are always people on said groups that keep me informed when SW is mentioned)

Thanks.

Two questions if it's not too much hassle:
1. Are we OK to mention a title of a thread on another named forum, but not mention the link e.g. what I posted in the Med section earlier today?
2. I presume this is only other forums and facebook groups? Links to papers are still allowed?
Thanks.

Links to papers are fine... Unless we see something that is totally off the mark... All we ask as a team is that permission is asked before links are posted... Out of respect more than anything... It's doesn't take a minute to drop one of us a pm... If you don't ask you don't get...

Planning on posting links without asking permission and bad mouthing doesn't get you what you want.
