Have had lots of rumbling all afternoon with no rain but the last half an hour has made up for it with an absolutely torrential downpour with bouts of hail so no watering for a few days hopefully!

No thunder and no rain.
There's nothing like a good summer thunderstorm but it's skipped us so far.

A dribble of rain is so frustrating, isn't it? I'd love a really good downpour where it comes down in fat vertical sheets while the thunder booms overhead. It would clear the air and do the garden good too.
No lightning though as I worry about lightning strikes. That's the last thing people need right now.

Well after last night's deluge only distant rumbling today but the ground is still very wet and the grass is greening up already.
