They both look like males to me

Are you sure they are 7 years old?

Its says hatched 2007 on their certificates so I presume so. They were purchased from a recommended breeder. They were both 125g when I bought them. They are around 180g now.

How long is their carapace or straight carapace length? That's not a lot of growth in 2 years.

A bit of a dodgy breeder?
Or didn't worry about getting certs correct?
Or bought from a shop?
I think they would be bigger than that, even with the slower growth in the wild for seven:0)

They're 9cm Dan. Stricly Ive had them for 22 months and they have been hibernated for 12 weeks for both winters with me. I hope your dodgy breeder comment isnt true Sandy as the breeder is listed on the TPG's breeders list.

It might be the breeder just gave out an incorrect cert which in itself is not good as it might well have been from one of their own tortoises.
Either way they are very small for seven years old.

I know all torts are different and you can't compare them, but my youngest Iberia is 2 years old and twice that weight so that does seem very small for 7 years old

Closer to 200g would be a better weight at 9cm.

My 3 year old Ibera was about 6 inches last time I measured her. I would say they are only babies or underfed.
