I will as well . Very upsetting when this happens

There was a piece in the newspaper today about the 14 missing Torts and theft is on the increase but still think you will find yours has dug down

Keep hoping I've read stories in here of torts turning up after as much as 5 years.

Thank you so much, for your support and offers of help, it's really appreciated.
I've been advised by my lovely local PC, and the RSPCA Centre not to put posters up. This is because people could then hunt about for him for the wrong reasons, even if a reward offered?

The two rescue torts arrive here today. I am hoping their presence might pull him out of hiding if he is, indeed, in the garden still.
I did another through search this morning, and my daughter hunted again for ages yesterday afternoon.
Even my hubby (who insists the animals are nothing to do with him.....

) spent Sunday afternoon with a little trowl digging gently around all the edges/borders.

On a slightly abstract note.... can Tortoises climb?!
I don't mean vertically, but up a notchy bark tree for example?

They can! The lady who I got my baby from has to cut back all her ivy anf plants to prevent them climbing up them and over the wall. He will turn up. Someone on this site lost their tortoise for a few years and then found it.

I have ivy growing along the back of my rabbit shed, that I've totally checked already but I will go and have another thourgh check! Thank youxxx I am going out there and searching at least 5 times a day - and that's only ME.. my daughters and hubby are also very concerned now.

I am honestly obsessed - I was up at 4am this morning with a torch trying to see if I could find him easier in the dark with a light than in the light IYKWIM.

so he could have gone over the fence to the neighbour and he may have dug down in their garden,are the neighbours nice?

My nieghbours are Fab - and both sides, 4 doors down each side, are on the 'look out' for Sid.
I've just been out to the ivy area, and no sign of him there

That's @ the 5th time I've looked there this week.

Ohhhh I do miss him.

will your neighbours allow you to check for disturbed areas of soil in their garden,on the other side from the ivy?
